  • Tag usage data: scan frequency, scan locations (approximate), and scan timestamps.

  • Call & Message your emergency contacts/overseas contacts when your QR code tag is scanned;

  • Send marketing communications where you have opted in (you can opt out at any time);
  • Comply with our legal obligations under Australian law;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, or technical problems.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your personal information with:

  • Service providers: third-party companies that assist us in operating the Services, including payment processing (Stripe), hosting, and analytics;
  • QR code scanners: when someone scans your tag, they will not see the contact information except Asset Rego — this is the core function of the product;
  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies: where we are required to do so by law, regulation, or court order;
  • Professional advisers: accountants, auditors, and lawyers as necessary.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Overseas Disclosure

Some of our service providers may be located outside Australia. Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient complies with the APPs or is subject to a substantially similar privacy regime, in accordance with APP 8.
