Each ContactMeTag product comes with a unique QR code that gets linked to your personal profile (phone number & email) when you scan the QR code first time for activation. You maintain your "Emergency Profile" online anytime anywhere that automatically gets attached to QR Code. In emergency situation, when someone scans QR code by any smartphone camera, it instantly opens a Response Page for making call or message without displaying your contact or emergency contact information — no app download required.
When you receive your tag, scan the QR code by your phone camera and follow the prompt. Upon successful activation, your logon user ID is automatically created in our system and you will receive an email with temporary password. Your email ID used during activation will be your logon user ID. Logon to your account to manage the Emergency Profile. Once you have set-up the Emergency Profile, your tag is ready to be stuck, inserted or to be worn. You do not need to download any app for QR Code to work in Emergency situation.
In a high-stress emergency situation when Emergency responder scans the QR Code, phone opens a Response Page for making call or message to you or emergency contact without displaying your contact or emergency contact information — no app download required. Response Page is designed to be clear and be actionable for emergency situations. Emergency Responder contact details are also not displayed to you unless he/she feels comfortable sharing his/her number by an action button - Share My Phone Number. All of the communications between the parties are free with contacts masked.
In a high-stress emergency situation, QR code scans instantly and presents a Response Page with the following clearly defined action buttons: Call Owner, Vehicle Alert Messages, Lost & Found Messages, Call Emergency Contact 1, Call Emergency Contact 2, Call Overseas Contact, Call 000 Number, Share Current Location (Incident Location) and Share My Phone Number. All of the communications between the parties are free with contacts masked.
ContactMeTag uses its dedicated phone number +61 468 008 428. When emergency responder call or message to Owner or their emergency contacts or overseas contact, our phone number +61 468 008 428 appear as caller or sender in Call, SMS or whatsapp. We advise our customers to save this number in their phone as "ContactMeTagAU" so that it can be differentiated from spam or marketing call/message.
Absolutely. You can log in to the https://ContactMeTag.com.au portal at any time to update your emergency contacts, overseas contact, or any other details. Changes take effect immediately — your physical tag never needs to be replaced.

Our stickers use weatherproof, UV-resistant PolyDyne PVC or Polypropylene with Acrylic permanent adhesive. QR code cards are PET plastic. Keychain tags are made from polycarbonate with a stainless steel ring. Silicone bracelets are made from hypoallergenic food-grade silicone, safe for all skin types and waterproof. These materials and prints have long term shelf life.
You need a smartphone to set up and manage your profile. However, anyone scanning your tag only needs a standard smartphone camera — which is built into every modern phone. No special app or download is required for the person scanning the QR code.
Yes. Your Emergency Profile can include 2 emergency contacts (phone number & email) and 1 overseas contact (phone number). For example, you can list a spouse as first contact, a parent as second, and your international contact as third. The person scanning will see all contacts in your chosen priority order.
Yes. To manage real-life scenario, you can deactivate the QR Code tag and reactivate when you want. You can do so from dashboard by logging into your account.
All our stickers and tags are designed to be durable, but accidents happen. Replacement stickers and tags can be ordered and can be linked to your personal profile — so your information is preserved. New tag can be assigned and set up again. Damaged Tag or QR Code can be deleted by an actionable button in dashboard.
Yes. Your data is stored on encrypted servers. When someone scans QR code and make call or message you, your contact details are masked. You control exactly what information is maintained or encoded in the QR code tag. We never sell or share your data with third parties. You can manage QR code tag online from our portal.
No. Your purchase includes lifetime access to the ContactMeTag portal for that tag. There are no monthly fees, no hidden charges, and no expiry on your QR code.
Absolutely, we use Australian suppliers to get the stickers & cards designed, developed and produced. Our software and portal is designed and coded in Australia.
